Is She Starring in a Porn Movie?

Well, I remember first seeing those photos earlier this week and thinking to myself "But she's not promoting anything, she's got no new movie out, what's with all the photo shoots?". Well, as a matter of fact I was right at the time, LiLo was officially unemployed. But not anymore. E!News has officially announced LiLo finally managed to land a job. No, I mean a real one, apparently. I'm not sure how much live sex or naked scenes this new project is supposed to include, but seeing that Lohan is involved, I'm guessing lots of both. "Producers have exclusively confirmed to E! News that the tabloid queen is resuming her day job, signing on to star alongside Jack Black in Ye Olde Times, a comedy tentatively set to start rolling this April. The film follows two rival Renaissance Faire troupes as they make their way through the competitive circuit.

Outdoors | Early forecast for Columbia coho is cloudy

The Columbia River coho forecast was recently released, and anglers shouldn't expect off-the-charts fishing in the ocean this summer.

The total forecast, known as the Oregon Production Index (OPI), calls for 276,100 coho to arrive off the coast, compared with an actual return of 536,600 last year. The Columbia River forecast alone is a mere 196,700. Doug Milward, a state Fish and Wildlife salmon resource manager, says the coho news doesn't look good, and ocean coho returns could be comparable to the 1995 to 1998 stretch when time on the water was slim.

While the predicted Columbia coho run looks to be in the tank, many believe that there will be enough to sustain some kind of ocean fishery.

"There are differences between now and the 1990s, when we were in an El Niño weather pattern, compared to now where there's a La Niña pattern," said Mark Cedergreen, president of the Westport Charterboat Association.

A Million Iraqi Victims… Do They Deserve an International Tribunal?

Over one million Iraqi citizens have died since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 according to the recent survey conducted by (ORB) Opinion Research Business. The survey found that 20% of the Iraqi citizens had had at least one death in their household as a result of the conflict, rather than natural causes. Narmin Othman, Iraqi Minister of State for Women's Affairs said in an interview to Al-hayatt newspaper (1/2/2008) "over two million Iraqi women lost their husbands and were left without any supporter for themselves and their kids. They became victims of tyranny, poverty and exploitation". US Department of Defense announced that about 600 Iraqi children, most between 15 and 17 years old, are detained in the Camp Cropper prison, which is a holding facility for security detainees operated by the United States Army near Baghdad International Airport.

Beijing's Water Cube welcomes first head of state visitor

BEIJING, Feb. 29 (Xinhua) -- Nigerian President Umaru Yar'Adua toured China's National Aquatic Center, also known as the Water Cube, on Friday, becoming the first head of state to visit the flagship Olympic venue for water events.

"I'm impressed by the engineering achievements that the Water Cube has made," said Yar'Adua after his visit. "I think all the athletes participating in the Beijing Olympic Games will have the same feeling."

Four and a half years in construction, the Water Cube with bubble-like exterior was completed on Jan. 28.

Previously a chemistry teacher, Yar'Adua was interested in the filtration methods and was told it uses active carbon to filter the water instead of chemicals.

Later Yar'Adua was given an introduction to the National Stadium, or the Bird's Net.
